My Truths by Great Erhazele

 My Truths

Well, I'm learning how to talk, again. For a long time, I was forced to throw my voice down a basement, and hide my truths because of fear.

But the dark cellar is where our dreams go to die, hidden from the sun and the rains, silenced for life.

So I'm mumbling true words now, vocalizing the hopes and promises into form, willing the ears of the universe to listen.

My tongue may stutter but it will not be shut, I will speak my truths and the world will hear me, my light is coming.
